SPV C600 Microphone and Ear Piece Problems, they just stopped working !!!

Hi,

I have an SPV C600 and until yesterday it was working fine. Then for no explainable reason i noticed that both the microphone and the ear piece stopped working. Basically i got a call (the phone rang as normal) when i picked up i couldnt hear a thing and everything i said couldnt be heard by the caller....

If i try and play music on the phone it cant be heard either but strangley enough if i plug my ear phones in it all works fine.

I downloaded and install the the latest ROM from Orange but it still has the same problem. I tried to install the I-Mate SP5 ROM but it wouldnt install for some reason, it said invalid vendor ID or something similar....

Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts ?
