Cingular 2125 - Hanging up and repeating keys

I have the latest ROM from HTC on my 2125 (the one from last year which provides push email).

For some time now I've been seeing the device (randomly?) send calls to VM when hitting the answer key. Can't figure that one out.

I'm also seeing keys presses sometimes being interpreted as being held down, so instead of just inputting one character, it repeats until the key is pressed again.

Any ideas/fixes?

Yes that's the wonderful new ROM from Cingular/HTC. Try sending a text message and you'll really get frustrated. Others have flashed their 2125's to alternate ROMs of Tornado devices. Anyone using a different ROM on their 2125 that would like to share experiences?
