V1240 - Typhoon SP5

Hi guys I just bought a V1240 which is the Vodafone variatn of the SP5, Typhoon etc I believe.

I have not got the phone yet just planning ahead i understand msn messenger and a few other apps are not present on the Vodafone rom ? if so can you flash the imate sp5 or QTEK ?

If so which is the best ROM to flash it with ?

I presume I have to application unlock the phone using regedit and alter the 2 keys then I will be able to flash any ROM ?

Hi guys I got my V1240 can someone direct me to a guide for putting on the latest imate or QTEK f/w please I have application unloced the phone so now can I just flash the rom or do I need to modify anything else and is there any differences betweek the QTEK and IMATE ?

I replaced the V1240 rom with i-mate and finally qtek ROMs.

You need to application unlock first, then CID unlock afterwards, and then do the upgrade.

Thanks foloowed the guide all done woeking great on the QTEK DAN ROM.

Another question the UK SDA II Tmobile - this runs WM 2003 I think and has no wifi so I presuem the QTEK rom will not work on this phone at all are there any later ROMS for this phone and is it possible to get it running with 2005 ?
