Guest sprinkles Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 I'm looking for a new phone. As you can see wfrom the title, I have difficult needs! I'd like it to be WM6, as I don't see the point in buying a WM5 device now. 3G is pretty much essential. I'd like GPS, but would be willing to compromise here, and I'd like it on a network that can give me unlimited data! I don't mind buying it SIM free if I can get an unlimited data sim from the network. Anyone have any ideas? I loved the look of the HTC Touch, but it doesn't have 3G!
Guest Neil5459 Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 The next release due, the HTC Kaiser, meets your hardware needs, and also has a sliding keyboard. As to unlimited data, the only network approaching this is T-Mobile with their Web'n'Walk package. Whether they offer the Kaiser is to be seen, but hints of a Vario III are strong! Further away is the HTC Polaris, but specs on that are not definite, though it definitely will have 3G and GPS; some leaks say 3.5" VGA screen, but someone at HTC has said 2.8" QVGA. I'd tend to believe the latter, otherwise a huge battery would be required!
Guest frydryce Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Not sure where you're located, but ATT/Cingular has 3G network areas popping up everywhere in the US and has unlimited data plans. as for hardware, the Kaiser is right up your alley. I'm waiting for it myself to release as the 8925 on the ATT network
