Help with Imate jam updates

hi guys

hi everyone im Peter and im new here, i got a Imate Jam about 2yrs ago and recently i attemped to update my PDA from this site here.

In the middle of the update. my PDA lights turns off and display USB v1.02 then on my computer screens pops up a window displaying

Error 101: Connection Error

please check.

1. Your device is property connected to the usb cable or cradle

2. You USB or cradle is properly connected to you OC

3. you device is turn on.

i 100% sure theres nothing wrong with my connection

anyways now each time i reset my pda its always goes back to the USB v1.02 screen

can some please help me thanks

Welcome to the forum :)

I'm not an expert at this but try running the update again.

Connect directly to your PC - don't use a USB hub - and disable screen timeout.

Also make sure the installer you downloaded is complete, ie. the same file-seize as stated at iMate.

i think i resolve the issue, the problem was it was windows vista & Sync Center or did i took it to another pc without vista and it worked =D thanks alot Disco Stu!
