activesync problem

Difficult one to explain which is why I probably can't find and answer so far.

I can get activesync to connect to my phone perfectly. I can explore, transfer files to and from my m3100. My problem is that when the phone is connected. programs on my desktop pc keep switching between being active and not active.

eg when using msn on the desktop I will be typing and after a few seconds the window will de activate as though I clicked on the desktop. a few second later it comes back and resumes typing but anything written in the deactive period doesn't show.

It happens in all programs and is most frustrating when opening the start menu cos when it deactivates I have to open it again and also when using drop down menus on the net.

The windows switch between being active an not active around every 3 secs. Any one else had this prob and know how to fix it?

Just to let anyone having this problem know, I have narrowed the problem down to Outlook 2002.

I removed Outlook 2002 from my desktop and now its fine, well I cant sync my outlook e-mails but i never used them anyway so no real problem. If any one does have any ideas tho please let me know.
