Connect computer to Network over phone's WiFi

I was wondering, is it possible for me to connect my WM6 smartphone to my computer as if I was going to use the internet sharing feature but instead of connecting to the internet through my phone's data plan, connect my computer to my network over the phones Wifi. So basically I would be using the phone as my computer's network interface card. I hope I'm making sense. Any pointers or information would be appreciated.

I dont think its possible as the internet sharing only seems to offer the 3g/gprs connections as sharable. Maybe there's a reg hack to add the wifi to the list?
