I have copied the phonenumbers from my old phone (Nokia N70) with Nokia PC Suite to a local folder on my pc.

With active synce i moved my email contacts to my phone, but I want to be able to browse to my local floder and synchronize the phonenumbers.

I was hoping there is a hidden folder on the phone where I can copy these phonenumbers to, as you can copy .cab files to your storage card or themes to the directory 'home' on the phone.

they are stored in pim.vol i think, but you cant just move the phonenumbers from the nokia to the htc - they are formatted in a different way and both proprietary.

i suggest you to create a new outlook profile of your desktop pc and sync your n70 with the nokia pc suite and afterwards you sync this profile with active sync to the s710.

i dont know if you can send all contacts as vcards from the nokia to the htc as vcards and the s710 can read them correctly, this might be another solution.

I have just done exactly this with my old N80 to my new S710. In contacts on the Nokia 'mark all' and then send by Bluetooth to the new phone. Piece of cake!
