Topping Up Battery Life - Is It A Problem?

I carry my phone around with me all day (switched on). I bring it home and for arguements sake the battery is at 75%. I pop it in the cradle and it charges up to full. If I keep doing this every day will it screw up my battery life in the long run as I know that with some products this can happen?

BTW I hae searched on the topics but haven't been able to find any relevant information on it. I know it will be in a post somewhere no doubt though.
