Nice... git ;-)

I gave up with 4sp when they had the big crash, and moved to a UK provider (www.servehost.com) who are pretty good, their anti-spam is much more effective than MS' built in, but I do get a lot of mail labelled "[bulk]" which is annoying. They've also not installed the MS fixes for Vista / IE7 for OWA .... However OWA is *workable* in the UK, whereas with 4smartphone with their hosting in Phoenix, AZ, it was unusably slow from work. Since I get no t-mob signal at work, OWA is essential.

Any other providers got to Exch 2007 yet? I might have to drop servehost a mail... now I'm on WM6 :-)

I'm with 1and1 and the guy I spoke to earlier today said he had no details of anything Exchange 2007 related.

TBH I'm running WM5 at the moment, so it's not a big deal to me, but when the WM6 update for the I600 comes out I might install it and then it'll become urgent!

Exchange 2007 is being rolled out gradually, so many of us won't get it immediately.

One downside is that it costs significantly more- I pay $83 per year for 1GB mailbox on 2003, but 2007 is being quoted at $12.95 per month for 500MB mailbox, though special offer this month @ $10.95.

Doesn't say anywhere if existing users can extend their current membership at 2003 prices, and still upgade to 2007.

Hmm so it is, thats a bit rubbish. Hope they sort it out by the time my renewal comes up :)

hmm, from $83/year to $131/year (including discount!) for 500mb less storage. I'll think I'll drop them a line to see what they say.

Well, for those that are interested, 4smartphone eventually replied to say that they will not be offering any kind of discount or extension for existing customers on the old pricing.

I'm personally going to look into moving to IT Solutions Now (http://www.exchangemailhosting.com/) who offer unlimited storage Exchange mailboxes for $9.99/month. Anybody had any experience of them?

4smartphone have given great service to me for the last 2 or 3 years, but I'll be damned if I'm swallowing a virtually 50% increase in prices, for a reduction in service.

That's not right at all.

I'm with you there, seems a very steep jump. I have supposedly a little under a year left on my 4sp deal, I wonder wether I'll be left to see it out on the 2003 server (the site isn't all that clear).

I was thinking about a move to 1and1.

Maybe we can have a poll or survey of exchange hosts and their merits and people experiences ?
