terminal services... larger screen resolution?

I use a lot of remote desktop servers and workstations.. but one thing that lets me down is the resolution of my Pocket PC... M3100... whenever I connect to a remote desktop using terminal services, it shoves the resolutions down to either 640 x480 or 800 x 600 or whatever it is... clearly useless on a remote device that usually uses 1280 x 1024... meaning I can't see anything, and have to spend ages trying to resize stuff, like my outlook windows or server windows just to get to what I want.

Now, I'm not moaning about the physical resolution of my PPC, but surely, there is a scroll bar on both the horizontal and vertical, so why can't it run at a workspace of 1280 x 1024 or whatever size the remote server is set to, and then scroll along to the areas of the screen as and when I want to... ???

Surely there must be a better option.

I know there are certain other programs out there that work but as I use a LOT of remote desktops, I can't go installing another Virtual PC type service on each Server.

I even used a remote desktop program on a Nokia N70 that allowed me to acces an entire workspace of 1280 x 1024.

Any ideas?
