Guest Dead Cell Posted July 28, 2007 Report Posted July 28, 2007 Guys I don't know if this has been posted before or even if I'm posting in the right section. :) I've got a Samsung i600 running WM5 and I was looking everywhere for a software, which would actually allow me to close an application which I am currently using, with a hardware button. But it seems almost non existent :D All I find is task managers which you have to open and then manually close the applications you want, and I've tried every single task manager I could find out there and still prefer my built in task manager! ;) Just in case you don't know what I'm on about, lets say for example I am in my SMS INBOX, now if I press the back key then it will take me back to the home screen but obviously MESSAGES is still running. I would then have to open task manager and then select MESSAGES from the list and then select STOP to end the application. But what I would like is to press a hardware button when I am viewing my SMS INBOX and for MESSAGES to close completely instead of being minimized and then having to close it manually from task manager. Is this even possible on a smart phone because I just cant seem to find anything. I'm also a PPC user and use softwares like SPB POCKET PLUS which actually closes applications when you tap on X or OK or even at the press of a harware button to which this funtionality is assigned to. Man how flippin difficult is it for Microsoft to add these simple features. It's driving me nuts man. :P Any help would be appreciated so thanks in advance. :D D.C
