I need to replace my SDA keypad, as the 7 button does not work very often. Where can I find a replacement keypad for it?

Also, is there any documentation on how to dis-assemble my SDA to install the keypad?

Thanks.

well when i had to replace mine i had no luck. i serached ebay and only found keypads for the sp5. fortunatly for me it was the joystick giving me the problem so i didn some soldering of the 2 and it fixed the problem. anyway, follow this guide:

http://sdadisassembly.blogspot.com/

once your phone is in 2 pieces, take the piece with the plastic screen. flip it over, and you will see the silver back of the keypad. unscrew all of the black screws holding it down, and pry up the keypad. thats all there is too it.

Thanks very much for the SDA dis-assembly instructions.

I'm very dissapointed that parts are so hard to find for this phone. I thought for sure it would be easy to find a replacement keyboard.

Looks like my only option is to try and return it to the person who sold me the faulty phone. Maybe someone else around here will have better news for me.

Thanks again!

unfortunatly there were so many more UK models made and its a rather un-common phone in the US, it is pretty hard to find. but yes hopefully someone else is able to find one for you.
