Owner Information Cab, Help Please!!

Hey. Since I have been installing a new ROM nearly everyday because the damn good workings of NBD I decided to combine all my cabs into one so it reworks the registry how I want it and places all my files neatly in the Start Menu etc.

The only setting I am having trouble with is Owner Information. I remember there being a topic about it on MoDaCo which I cannot seem to find but when ever I tell the cab to adjust the settings in HCKU\ControlPanel\Owner or adjust them for testing reasons whilst the phone is running, it does not seem to make any difference!

Does anybody know where the topic is or can help me tweak my cab?

Code seems ok.

Have a look at Registry Workshop by torchsoft.com.

1. Sync device then connect to mobile device registry.

2. Highlight HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Owner

3. Export key to REG format.

4. Open 'Sam Personal Settings.cab' in WinCE CabManager then import the reg file from instruction 3.

5. Recompile CAB.

Thanks a lot gpcarreon some very good advice! That software will make my reg-editing and cab making a lot easier for 30 days lol.

No problemo. You should do all the reg editing within that 30-day trial. :)

You can delete the file attachment. I believe there are personal info in there.
