Not All Contacts Sync In Outlook

Hi,

Trying to at least have all my contacts saved on Outlook before (evidently) I may have to hard reset my HTC Trinity (P3600).

Using ActiveSync 4.5.0, and Microsoft Outlook 2002, I connect my phone (via USB). ActiveSync detects it, and does the usual syncing, but then I get the following error:

The following contacts failed to synchronize from the device:

3. ...

Error Code: 1

17 contacts in all - One thing they all have in common is that they're the contacts that I've put copious notes on, for one reason or another. It would suck to lose all those notes!

If anybody has a solution, please help.

I had this problem once, it took literally days to find anyone that had the same problem. Then I found this

the instructions in post #3 resolved my issue. On mine it was any contact or appointment which had a photo or note attached.

Thanks for that Happy Dave! Followed the instructions and they actually worked!

For some reason a couple of my contacts lost some details that I added, but I guess that's because of all the fiddling I've been doing trying to get my PDA to work properly. Better than nothing!
