Assign custom tones to incoming sms?

I can see the ringtones when i want to modify the incoming call sound, but not the sms sound

is there another program?

copy and paste the tones you would like to use into the My Documents folder on your PPC. You'll have to use .wav files with WM5.

you'll find all the notification tones in settings>sounds & notifications>notifications. pull down the drop down menu and change for each selection you want.

I think they need to be in Windows. Or use 'Phone Alarm' & you can have almost any tone you want!

I use photo contacts pro and you can select a specific SMS tone for each person.

Does any one have a sms tone that goes like this...

You have message.... message........ MESSAGE....... MESSAGE and so on getting loader and more iritated as it goes.

I heard this on some one elses phone and it made me laugh so much.

MortRing 0.991 - it's freeware. :D

You don't need any extra software.

Put your desired tone, in wav format, in \Windows

Job done!

Oops, mis-read the original post. MortRing enables per-contact assignment of SMS tones.
