Palm 700wx

Hi Guys. New to the forum. It seems Treo's are not popular here (don't blame you). But I have a problem that palm can't even solve. I have a Treo 700wx that has an alarm I set to get up that is stuck ringing. A regular reset has no effect. Is there a way to stop or reset this without erasing vital information via a hard reset? Thanks a lot. P.S. I didn't see this in search and I had problems pulling up search for this site on my phone.
