Im looking for a free registry editor.

That was the first one i tried but i couldnt get it installed on my device through add/remove. Is there some trick to doing it?

Just go to this link - http://www.phm.lu/downloads/download.aspx?...2A4418802FD3%7d - download the version that says desktop installer (via activesync). Have your phone connected to activesync and run the installer from your PC and follow the on screen instructions. It will install it to your phone for you.

Tried that the first time, it never shows up in the add/remove list and my device never asks for confirmation. It seems to install on my computer and launches the add/remove window but isnt in there and when i press OK, nothing happens. Odd. :)

Did you try installing it by cab?

I tried every cab that came with the installer but none of them would work. The one i downloaded from chinese chickens link worked though.

CeRegEditor is pretty good and best of all it's free. It runs on your PC and works while your PPC is connected via USB.

Agreed, it's currently the best - preferable over the buggy PHM. Also see my related remarks in my articles.
