Guest the_evertonian Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 I have taken the SIM out of my E650 and now it won't go back in far enough to properly close the flap or be detected by the phone. Help!
Guest the_evertonian Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Well, that's really f*cked it. I managed to get the SIM back in, but I must have damaged the handset in the process, as it still fails to recognise that a valid SIM is in place. Great. Just great.
Guest Looby Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Try another SIM before you do anything rash. I agree it is a bit tricky :)

Guest James McConnon Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 I thought i couldnt get mine in either but then i wipped out the manual and saw wether i was putting it in the right way and it turned out i wasnt. got me a bit worried for a while though until then!
Guest Enigma_tw Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 I had the same problem. You have to put the sim in the "wrong" way round. With the little notched edge facing out.
Guest Samsonite Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 if you look down into the slot, there is a metal strap that goes across the whole SIM card tray area. If that gets knackered and wont let you slide a card underneath, then its definietly an open-phone-surgery solution.
