Is there any of you who have the 1.04 bootloader (SPL) on the S710 ?

Where do I see the SPL version?

I've got ROM version 1.16.407.1 and RADIO 4.1.13.37 on my device.

I've got ROM version 1.16.407.1 and RADIO 4.1.13.37 on my device.

The first 3 digits of the ROM version usually also indicates the SPL version.

So in your and also my case it's 1.16.

To know for sure you can restart your S710 in bootloader mode by pressing the camera and power-on button at the same time.

I'm chasing for SPL version 1.04 because I'm pretty sure it allows for relatively easy CID and SIM unlocking. My S710 is CID locked and I want to unlock it w/o paying for it.

In a bengal boys forum thread about the S710 I saw the guy had 1.04 but he upgraded firmware to 1.15. There is a v1.19 in the Dopod firmware.

Didn't know that there are any unbranded but CID locked S710 out there...
