Hey.

Do you have a Push Mail account activated or something like that?

If not and you cannot figure out whats forcing your GPRS to connect you can use MoDaCo No Data to prevent the connection from being enabled.

However, I am not familiar with the Touch registry but I know there is a tweak that keeps GPRS connections active all the time so I'll upload a tweak manager if that is the problem if you reply :)

Thanks for the reply.Nope, i do not have push mail.Everything was normal till suddenly yesterday this problem appeared and everytime i've gota check onmy touch tomake sure its not connected. if not it will be burning a big hole in my pocket.

I believe that the " MODACO NODATA" can slove it. but the problem is, if i totally shut the Gprs down , i wont be able to receive any Mms .

By the way, someone gave me this. But i don't really know what will it do as the person did not reply me.Does it shut off the Gprs for good? :

Use any registry, find below link

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A3 8-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\|connection name|\Enabled

you will see the DWORD Data is "1",change it to "0".

Hello again.

Using MoDaCo NODATA you can select which connections you wish to close, so you should just close Internet not MMS as having MMS connected all the time will not charge you anything but make your device quicker to download Picture Messages.

I just looked up your registry edit in my registry and I noticed that my Orange Internet connection was already disabled meaning that MoDaCo NODATA uses this registry key to disable and enable your internet, so it just puts a GUI to this tweak (I disable Orange Internet for when I use WLM).
