Is there any way to delete the default icons

Those unused "Start" menu items begin to bug me. <_<

Is there any way to delete the default items such as "Internet Explorer", "Internet Connection Sharing" and so on?

Just go to \Windows\Startmenu\ and delete the ones which you don't like or move them to a subfolder.

Thanks a lot for your immediate reply. But I have already tried that wihout luck since not all program shortcuts are being displayed in \Windows\Startmenu\. It looks like it contains shortcuts to 3rd party applications only.

that's strange. all my shortcuts are in there, including the native windows ones.. do you have a branded version of the s710?

Nope, I bought it unbranded at a 3rd party mobile phone provider about two weeks ago. I will perform a hardreset after I have recieved my mircoSD card within the next few days and try again then.

Mit was guckst du denn? AS oder auf dem Gerät? Auf dem Gerät musst du dem Explorer noch sagen auch versteckte und System-Dateien anzuzeigen, damit du die Links siehst...

Und zwar verwende ich den Resco Explorer anstelle des "on board"-Explorers (bei welchem ich nicht einmal weiß, wo sich versteckte Dateien ausblenden lassen :) ). Der Resco Explorer hat viele Menüpunkte nicht angezeigt - sicherlich wegen der von mir vermuteten Ursache.

Übrigens: Deine Skins sind bemerkenswert, wann sehen wir mal wieder was Neues von dir? Ganz schön kreativ für dein Alter. ;)

Problem solved. The explorer was set to hide system files :D
