Guest Paul (MVP) Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Sprite Backup 6 is now available! Supports ALL WM5 & WM6 Devices - Smartphone AND Pocket PCNEW Backup to FTP Server - Now supports remote backup for additional protectionBackup to PC - Increased protection by moving backups off-deviceNEW Sprite PC Manager - Easy setup & instant data protectionSprite Explorer - PC Tool for browsing and extracting backup file contentsUpgrade Mode Recovery - Restore to a replacement device or after a ROM UpgradeNEW Support for WM6 Storage Card encryption - Access ALL your data after a hard resetFull & Custom Backup and Restore operations - offers complete controlSelf-Extracting Backup Files - Restore backups without re-installingAutomatic Scheduled Backup - ensures up to date content protectionAutomatic Backup File Management - Optimize storage space used Sprite Backup was awesome already, but there are a couple of features in there that get me particularly excited. The first is the backup to FTP server option (something I personally have wanted for a LONG time) and secondly the support for WM6 Storage Card encryption. Nice work guys! Sprite Backup is now available in Standard and Lite guises (priced at $29.95 and $19.95 respectively) from http://www.spritesoftware.com - a free trial download is also available. I'll leave you with the interactive feature tour courtesy of Sprite. Enjoy! :) P PS I am clarifying the position now with regards to V6 upgrades for MoDaCo Plus users... watch this space!

Guest gazbert Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 I couldn't wait so I've just paid the $10 upgrade fee. Sprite backup is a lifesaver, but the number if times I've woken up to a dead battery because I left it locked was starting to get very annoying. Thanks for the heads-up Paul!
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 I got Sprite through Plus very recently and Sprite emailed me a link and an authorisation code today! Great support for a "free" copy!
