It is SPV, right?

I would like to know if QTEK made a phone like this... I mean, I know that QTEK8080 is SPVe200... Is there a similar model of this phone?

I need to know this because i need to update this phone with a new rom, so I can install all kind of applications (Orange locked it and I can't unlock by http service that they provide).

I need the newest ROM for this phone, in Italian is better, but also in English is ok.

Yep that's the SPV also known as the Canary. Orange were the first to sell this phone using the name SPV followed shortly after by Qtek as the 6080 and then by Dopod as the 515.

As for the E200, Orange made the most recent update of 2.7 as far as I am aware. I'm not sure if the update is still available from Orange UK and the UK site is a nightmare to navigate, but Orange Switzerland have the updates available.

First of all, thanks a lot for your help and your welcome :)

My phone is ORG_UK, not ORG_CH, so the link with the rom files you provided to me isn't good for my phone; anyway I would like you to suggest me what's the best ROM file: the latest orange one or the latest QTEK one? And about the latest QTEK, how can I get it? (I can't register to the QTEK website because this IMEI is not recognized).

What does it happen if I put in this phone the 2.7 Rom File of the SPV E200?

My ROM File version now is 1.6 something..

The Qtek is only available to Qtek customers but the ROM on the Qtek is much older than the Orange ROM so personally I would tend to avoid it.

As for using the Swiss ROM it should still be possible to use that as from memory the E200 is not CID locked so ROM udating should be possible without altering the registry etc.

The E200 is now a very old device and other newer models can be picked up fairly cheaply like the C500 or C550 which would enhance your Smartphone experience.

I tryed both methods you suggested me to unlock my SPV phone, but in any case I don't get the confirmation message, so my software is still locked.

That's why I need a QTEK Rom, if someone can give me it, please pm.
