WM6 Upgrade questions

Hi All,

This is my first post, glad i found this place...

Was just wondering, I have seen rom links to WM6 and wanted to know if anyone had upgraded?

I have an MDA Vario II, ROM version: 1.21.110.3

WM5, OS 5.1.195 (build 14955.2.3.0)

1.Does it effect my warrenty or T-Mobile agrement?

2.Will my bluetooth modem have any issues?

3.What is the correct and safest way to do the upgrade?

Welcome to the forums.

The Vario II is a hermes so it would probably have been best to post in the hermes forum.

As far as I know there is no official Vario II WM6 release - they are all 'cooked'. If this is the case it would invalidate your warranty. The best place to ask about cooked ROMS is over at xda-developers.com as that is where all the ROM chefs hang out and all your ROM questions will be answered there.

Hermes is the HTC model name for the device sold as the T-mob MDA Vario II

it is also sold as the Orange SPV M3100 and various other names so the forum that is specific to your device is the hermes forum.

You can always flash to whatever ROM you want and if by chance you need to return it flash it back....
