Question i have. would these apps run in WM5/6 ?? :P http://portableapps.com/ Edited August 11, 2007 by AwJm
Guest greenturtle Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Nope as they are all Win32 applications. However you could use WM5storage to store them on your phone and when you plug your phone into the PC you would be able to run them off the storage card.

Guest greenturtle Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 Got ya. Well there are actually pocket versions off those applications you want. For example Windows Live Messenger Mobile is a good replacement for IM Pocket Internet Explorer with the additional software Pie+ providing tab is as good as firefox. Then Pocket Office is a perfectly good Word, Excel and Powerpoint editor.
Guest AwJm Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 Yeah, i have used Messenger on WM5 but its msn only, need a all on one messenger .. and i am cool with IE .. maybe i will give opera a look as well...
