Transparent start/task bar?

Hey folks,

Is there some way to make the start (and bottom) bar transparent? If not, is there a way to skin the bars with a photo of your choise? I'd like to have everything float above my wallpaper... if you know what i mean.

I think Wisbar advance can to do this, and from what I understand the Forums are pretty helpful

Thanks, but i was hoping to do it without the use of wisbar. The Touch runs slow enough as it is. :)
