memory for .NET cf

Wehn I tried installing MS .NET cf to the device memory the installation failed because of memory shortage. Before install the storage memory has 5Mb free, and the program memory has over 23Mb free. I have not been able to find out how much the .NET files need but surely they don't need that much. So my guess is that .NET tries to install itself into the storage memory ignoring the program memory on the device (i-mate SP5).

Is there any workaround, for example to make it install to the program iso storage memory? Can I install it to the storage card?
