SMTP Finder

Hello Everybody,

As I'm new on the smartphone phones and have been testing it on different free wi-fi spots over here, I wanted to know if there is a software that can tell what SMTP does the connection you have for me to use my private domain account (and not the webmail app.) over the free wi-fi spot.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Not sure what you mean, but it sounds like you're looking for an SMTP service that works over a WiFi connection (?)

You might find that your mobile operator has an SMTP server you can use, failing that you can rent a service (Plus.Net used to do one for about £2/month)

I don't use HotSpots but I'd be surprised if they provide SMTP services themselves, unless you have an account perhaps...

Hi chucky, I wanted to know if it's possible to find out what is the SMTP of the wi-fi connection you get, either on a hotel, airport or restaurant. I wanted to know if there is a way to see what is your smpt with something like a command line.

Thanks for your help.

UPDATE:

I have my own domain and I have never been able to use the outlook to reply to my e-mail using my domains SMTP, I have to use my service providers SMTP, I think that is normal but I wanted to know if there is a way to use either my SMTP or learn the SMTP of the ISP that I'm using at the moment.
