Guest nazkor Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Hi, I have trouble with Active Sync and Vista Mobile deivce center. Actually it breaks down that not these programs are creating the trouble but the VOX itself. Last time I solved the problem with a hard reset but this cannot be the solution because after a few days I have it again. The thing is that the VOX is recognized by the sync software but it cannot start a successful sync. I can browse on the smartphone but have no rights to copy from or of the device to the computer. Now the interesting part: lots of people here had already problems with synching and tried to change the setting Start-Settings-Connections- More-USB to PC When I try to get to this I get an error message: In German: Fehler: Einstellungen konnten nicht geƶffnet werden Mit be in English like: Error: Settings cannot be opened After the last hard reset I was able to change the settings here so it seems that the VOX has somehow locked itself down? Any idea what this may have caused (I have no additional hardware installed since hard reset) or what I can do without a new hard reset? Thanks Markus
Guest Urs Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Delete connection in ActiveSync and/or Your VOX. Pair devices once again and it should work (works for me).
