Dash htc scren going blank. help !

Hi, first of all thanks for reading my topic.

I own a dash htc from T-mobile, my cell phone is 1 month old (not warranty) and for some reason since the past week my phone's screen goes blank, just like that, I have not dropped the phone or got water on it, just started out of nothing, I can receive and make phone calls, I just cant see nothing and that goes on for several hrs or days, but sometimes the screen goes back to its working condition,and it goes on and off with the samething. if anyone know whats going on with my phone I would appreciate any help or information on how to fix it.
