Guest Underdog_2k Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 (edited) Hi guys/gals Haven't been here for a LOOOOooooong time!! Most smartphones are symbiant/wm based, but the new razr2 v8 has its OS based on linux (not the razr2 v9 hsdpa). Stil have a orange m500 (haven't used it in ages), sold my mpx220. Gonna buy a p3300 as backup phone, it does have nice looks and size.. for a smartphone. In march motorola anounced the all new razr2 v8 with linux on it and stunning looks (in my opinion at least) and thinner then the original razr. There are many linux devices out there (http://www.linuxdevices.com/articles/AT9423084269.html) but does linux make it a true smartphone. any experience with linux on phones (compared to wm) Greetings The razr2 v8, using a 500mhz arm11 proc. Guest cim Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Hey, I'm currently waiting on the v8, 2gb version to land in the UK. However I have a question, lots of review sites and even resellers say the V8 has a MicroSD slot. Can you tell me if this is the case? Personally I think they are confused and mean the v9 but still I'm unsure. Thanks
