Sony Walkman w960 - available?

I am greatly interested in the Sony Walkman w960, even over the P1 that I was considering (mostly because the p1 only supports 4gb cards and the w960 has 8gb mem)

I've talked to Sony and many reps have told me it is available in the US, but they refuse to or can't tell me ANY stores that are carying it. I've called all around to Sony stores and most of them haven't even heard of the phone, nor can find a record of it being shipped to any Sony stores.

Does anyone know if this is available and where?

welcome, but this forum is for windows mobile phones, and the sony ones aren't. there is a sister site to this one, mobiholics, you can find the link at the menu up the top

p.s. ebay, or any online store, have it shipped. but you wouldn't be able to try it out first of course. welcome to my life! (australia's worse dude)

Sony w960 walkman phones are umts based, you don't have that over there do you/only edge? besides read above post
