MDA Vario / wm5

hi all. my girlfriend just bought me a vario for my birthday and I'm loving it. just having a couple of problems which hopefully someone can help me with.I don't have a t mobile sim just yet (quitting voda when I get paid) so I have been using our wireless network for internet access but a few programs like terminal services client and other internet apps try to call up the t mobile gprs. Is there a way around this. when I do get my sim I would like to use my wireless over the gprs when I'm at home. but so far I cant get all apps working on the wireless connection. also does anyone know how I go about setting up wm5 to sync with my works exchange server.any help would be great.
