Backlight goes off, but not on again

I have gotten this problem resently. When the phone goes dim, and i hit a key, it doesnt go bright, and when the display goes of, it doesnt go bright or dim again it's just off, i have to put the phone under a lamp to just see someting on the screen.

Please help, im getting insane here, this phone is wasting my life.

Im using rightkey, autokeylock, and tornado powermanagement.
