newbie question

I need some help please, I have 2 questions:

1. is there a way to change the font size of different items e.g. menus, Mail app etc?

2. I installed 'Q Inbox Extender' but it does not work, it doesn't show up in the Menu

I have exactly the same situation as problem #2, it just doesn't seem to do anything!
