Guest mikeeey Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 (edited) yesterday i was in the airport, and i set all my items in the bin to go thru the xray. well after i had taken my phone out and played it with, no settings what-so-ever worked.(ie: wifi settings, bluetooth settings, anything in the "settings" in the start menu") Also i couldnt install anything cause the install wizzard (or whatever you would like to call it on Windows mobile) was corrupted. I couldnt use active sync cuz the active sync drivers were corrupted. i ended up doing a hard reset and it solved the problem. strange how the xray corrupts data on the Rom. Not a clue  Everytime I've put my tornado and/or hermes through those X-Ray machines they've worked fine afterwards... Bizarre ;) Phil
Guest goochy1 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Bizarre ;) True.... I've never had a problem....which airport was it? maybe security is more severier ???? Just an idea ?? Thank you Goochy1
Guest mikeeey Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 and your guys's devices were turned on when you put it thru right? yea, weird. if it made a difference, i think my wifi might had been on standby and turned on when it went thru. it seemed to of corrupted ALL files on the ROM except the ones in use.
Guest greenturtle Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 That is so peculiar. My Tornado was fine when I put it through the scanner, also my Wizard was as well and that had an active GPRS connection running as I was using WLM and Downloading some emails. Spooky.

Spooky. maybe i should put mine thru a few more times next time im at an airport to confirm it was the x-ray lol. It could have just been a coincidence i guess, but if so, what else could have done that? Edited September 8, 2007 by mikeeey
