Updated homescreen alarm plugin

On my late 8020 I had a great plugin that allowed me to set the alarm from the homescreen, I forgot whether it was DocBru's HILAlarm or Richie M's plugin.

On my new phone I cannot find a plugin that actually works with WM5. As far as I know theere is no alarm plugin for WM6 either. Both DocBru and Richie M have clearly stopped developing their plugins. I found a plugin called Alarm Info from www.mobilerob.com (don't enter that site without protection as my antivirus found some malware!) but that plugin has hardly any possibility of customising.

I would like to be able to place the plugin along x and y, and play with background and foreground colours both selected and non-selected. With the old plugins that was possible, but with Alarm Info I don't manage. It would be great if the plugin could be placed on one line with other plugins, espectially time and date, but that was never possible so I don't have high hopes.

I know many people loved the homescreen alarm plugins as much as the scrolling appointment plugin so probably I am not alone in wondering:

- Is there any plugin out there that I have missed?

- Is there anyone out there who could make a plugin that works in WM5 and WM6?

I am no programmer but seeing that DocBru's HILAlarm has only one failing in WM5 (the set alarm goes off when scrolling away from the plugin) I imagine that it would not take all that much to get it to work.

Anyone else who'd like to be able to put the alarm back on a nicely customised homescreen?
