Smartmonitor problem with homescreen

I'm trying to put a smartmonitor plugin in my homescreen in portrait mode. (It's screwed up in landscape for now, working on it)

But everytime I modify the xml, my phone won't recognize it. I can not select the new homescreen.

Does anybody have an idea what is wrong with it?

In attachement 2 files. The "smartouch.rar" is my homescreen with working xml, without smartmonitor.

The "Smartouch with smartmonitor.rar" is with smartmonitor:) This one won't work. Offcourse, when copied to my phone, I renamed it to smarttouch.home...

A couple of things:-

1. Your homescreen must have the ".home.xml" file extension, and such "filename.home.xml". Your's is missing the xml extension

2. It doesn't like the degree character you have used:-

T°: {temp}

If you remove °, and save, it works.

Tip: If you view your XML files in Internet Explorer or other web browser, you can see if the XML is valid or not, before copying to your smartphone. If it's not valid, it will show the errors. Copying an invalid XML file to your device will not display on your homescreen list in Settings.
