Guest Tomvdz Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 I have a nasty problem with my Orange branded vox, yesterday I turned the phone off for a while, and when I wanted to start it up again it showed the bootloader (the tri-colored screen). I couldn't find any way to let the phone boot into the OS again, it always boots in bootloader mode. Hard reset won't work, and several solutions using mtty also won't work. So I could send the phone in for warranty, but I first want to ask you guys if you know a possible solution for this weird problem.
Guest ICQ_Eagle Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 That is THE chance to flash an original S710 ROM! ;)
Guest Tomvdz Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 That is THE chance to flash an original S710 ROM! ;) Yes that would be fine, but my device isn't CID unlocked and I can't CID unlock it because then I need to have access to the OS first. And I don''t want to try IMEI-CHECK.co.uk because maybe the flash-memory-chip is just broken and than I spend that money for nothing. So does anyone else have any ideas or similar problems?

Guest Tomvdz Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 If you have a MicroSD card in your phone, remove it and try rebooting. Tried this already, and I already tried the tricks in the xda-dev post. So today I send my phone in for repairs.
