wm6 left softkey rename

hey peoples.

well first off all this is my first post on this wonderfull site, so im sort of a newbie. Please excuse me if i ask an idiotic question. well i am currently running wm6 on tmobile dash and i wanted to know if there is anything or anyone who can tell or teach me how to rename the left softkey from "start" to what ever i would like. i have already changed the name on the right softkey and i used the same procedures but no luck. i have also been searching sites back and forth for months. anything would help. thanks in advanced.

I think SK1 label could not be changed by simple registry tweak. If you would check the link, a commenter mentioned about programmatically refreshing the value but I haven't tried it yet.

thanks for getting back to me. i have tried everything i can think of and i havent found the answer to renaming the left softkey. maybe i just isnt my time. lol. thanks anyways. ;)
