Guest The Futures Bright Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 It's slowly arriving at long last. O2 Blowing it's trumpet. ;) http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=7426
Guest neilg Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 can be done now......try here.....: http://www.nowmms.com/
Guest The Futures Bright Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Yeah i know, but using normal mobile methods, not from the web. ;)
Guest omar_g Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 The link above does use normal methods. It enables you to send cross network from your phone.
Guest Firaas Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 It requires the receiving phone to have nowmms's stuff as their mms settings...
Guest mike-oh Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 T-Mobile, Orange and O2 have all agreed to do cross network MMS. However (and isn't there always) will they charge extra for this and when do they plan on implementing it?
Guest HelloDave Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 So what about Vodafone - are they too arrogant and think they have enough users that they don't need to be able to MMS people on other networks. Ironic really - I'm sure I've seen more of those annoying David Beckham adverts than any other photo messaging ones recently. "See, Snap, Send. But only if you're both on Vodafone and both have a compatible phone" ;)
Guest ivanmacx Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 This whole thing is insane. I have no idea what network my friends are on. I'm supposed to send them MMS and just cross my fingers that it's going to work? Plus, when you buy the phone/contract they don't tell you that MMS only works on the same network. Undoubtedly all the networks will fix this soon as it will lose them money. :x
