I seem to have managed to set up my spv as a modem for my pc

but the connection is quite tenuous and I seem to have to keep the spv "awake" by keeping the backlight on !!?

it stops waking up after a cuppla minutes

could someone tell me is this normal performance in the same way the

buffering on media player is so dire?

or are my settings likely to be squiffy ( had no references just fiddled )

I can't seem to download waiting mail

but luckily I can get modaco !!

the members who have sorted out the phone as a

modem have not seen your post.

You need to go and turn off all the power management stuff (Both in settings> home screen and in Power Management) to stop the phone dropping the connection...

Bandwidth and general performance seems pretty dire at the moment, but I can't see any reason why you can't download your mail if you've got web access....
