Need help with homescreen plugin

hi there

here's what i am trying to do: i want a background image für the missed calls plugin so it'll push all the other plugins out of the way when i have missed a call. unfortunately it doesnt work; if i have the bgimage-bit in there, the homescreen won't even load (spinning wheel, but won't change from the homescreen that was there before), if i take it out, it'll work. but i do want to have the image in there.. the image is a 240x293 bmp (but it wont work with smaller ones either)

is the bgimage in the wrong place? i just cant figure that one out..

Hi ombre33, the height of your image wants to be '293'. You need to create a folder named after your theme, place the image inside, label your image missed_on and then copy the folder to Application Data\Home on your device. Then alter your xml file as thus:

Wow, thanks! it now looks exactly the way i wanted it to!

one more thing tho: does the bgimage-rotated work for multi-oriented devices (such as the vox) in the missed calls plugin?

e.g.:

if it's like that it won't change the background bmp (see attached pics).. any ideas?

Hi ombre, not an easy screen to work with, try dropping the missed_on image enclosed in the zip folder to your own theme folder and give your phone a call...looby ;)

N.B. There is no need to change the original xml file.

thx for yer help again. that's exactly the same idea i had after thinkin about it for a while.. the easiest thing sometimes isn't the most obvouis one.. :wub:
