Any way to shorten the length of "vibrate"?

I use a "normal" profile that includes sounds for events such as the phone, etc. I have noticed that if I set the email alert to "vibrate" it is pretty long. In previous devices it seems that the vibration was much more brief. I would like to use vibration for email alerts, but want something much shorter in duration.

Is there a setting somewhere that would allow the vibrate time to be shortened??
