Guest Sephiroth87 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Hi there! When connecting my wox to pc via usb, if there was an ongoing wifi connection, the wlan gets disabled... If i re-enable it, it remains enabled until it connects to an ap, and then it gets disbled again... Removing the usb cable, and everything is fine... Any idea?
Guest Espensodal Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 yeah, i have this problem when i usb to vista ultimate, on xp it works like a dream, sync and everything, but (allthough not surprising) allot of things dont work with vista (even whith its new and wonderous system to connect different things to your computer). when syncing with vista, this works for me: import pictures, browse files, sync media. This doesnt work: Wlan on device (connect through cable issue maybe? if so, connect through cable internet doesnt work), sync outlook (contacts, calendar, tasks) install progs with active sync.
Guest Sephiroth87 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Mhm, i'm on vista home premium, so maybe that's it? The strange thing is that i seem to remeber it worked some time ago, but i'm not too sure 'bout that... But if you say you have the same problem...
Guest ... Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 ActiveSync for Windows XP has an option called "Disable wireless connections (such as GSM, WiFi and Bluetooth) when phone is connected to workstation". ActiveSync asks for enabling this option when you connect your mobile device to the workstation for the first time. Maybe there is a similar option in Vista?
