Keep GRPS connection up, whilst connected to PC?

Hi there,

I'm got a T-Mobile Vario II, running Black Majik.

I'm trying to find out how I can keep the GPRS/Data connection up whilst the device is conencted to the PC. Ideally I'm trying to use the application Mobiler to view the device's screen, whilst using Windows Live Messenger to continue chatting. I need the device to keep it's connection up thru the 3G/GPRS, as my proxy here blocks the MSN sites.

Is this possible at all? From what I've read, it appears that ActiveSync grabs hold of the TCPIP stack, thus causing the device to drop it's data connection.

Hmm, dont know about that, but there is a tick-box in ActiveSync v4.5 that "allows wireless connection" whilst connected to ActiveSync.

Have you tried that?
