I was thinking of a leather case:

I see ADVERTISING SPAM top and side flips (£17)

Proporta top flip (£28)

Noreve (£28)

Krussell cases (5 types)

anyone have one of these and recommend it ?

I am mostly interested in protection of the i600 from cosmetic damage, like scratches, rather then something bullet proof .....

I use the CAPDASE Silicone (aka Condom) case. Reason why I chose this case, is the size issue. You can still carry the phone in your pocket without it being too big. Plus its dirt cheap (I think 10 bux). You can probably find cheaper silicone cases on ebay.
