charging problems

I just recently started having problems with the charger. When i insert the jack it charges for a second then stops? Ive tried different chargers and a USB one aswell but nothing works. Last time i had to reset the phone to get it to work but now i have to remove the battery? Anyone had the same probs. Its still under guarantee so im thinking of sending it back.
