Ipaq 510 and Parrot 3100 (how can I disable system sounds through BT)

I have a new Ipaq 510 Smartphone (WM6) that is replacing my Ipaq 6945. In my car I have a Parrot 3100 bluetooth system that allows me to route all calls through to the car stereo. With the 6945 which is WM5 I get all voice (to and from) routed from the Ipaq to the Parrot and through the car as expected. Voice is the only thing that gets routed. All system sounds such as a new email notification still come through the Ipaq 6945.

When I switched to the 510 not only do I get voice routed through the Parrot, but I now also get all system sounds routed. This may be a feature to some, but for me I don't want my stereo to mute for a second while it plays system sounds for every appointment, email, etc. I also do not want the voice commander software that is built in to the 510 to be routed to the Parrot. I have looked through this and other forums and cannot find a way that works to limit my Ipaq 510 bluetooth routing to be just phone-related. I have seen plenty of references to registry hacks, etc that will allow a WM5 device to turn on and turn off system sound routing, but none of that appears to be working with the Ipaq 510. In fact, I did try to turn on system sounds through bluetooth on the 6945 and it worked as expected. I was then able to turn it back off.

Any suggestions or pointers are greatly appreciated.
